The Sage Marais Set is a two-piece skirt set built around one idea, carried at full scale. The artwork is printed at the size it was drawn, not shrunk to fit a panel.
Colour first. Explanations later, if at all. This one takes a single motif and lets it run — at full scale, unapologetic, sized for somewhere with better light. Cut from a 95% polyester, 5% spandex blend, and finished so the colour holds its nerve through the wash.
The Sage Marais Set starts as artwork and stays artwork — drawn at scale, then fitted to the garment rather than shrunk onto a panel.
The Sage Marais Set is not a subtle piece and was never trying to be. It is the one thing in the drawer that decides the rest of the outfit.
Saturated where it counts, calm where it needs to be. The palette is built to sit next to skin tones and denim without arguing with either.
The palette for The Sage Marais Set was pulled from things that hold colour badly in photographs and beautifully in person: pool tile, late light, painted shutters, cheap plastic sunglasses.
