Solar Flare is a hoodie built around one idea, carried at full scale. The graphic is printed to hold its colour and its edges through the wash.
Loud in the way expensive things are allowed to be. This one takes a single motif and lets it run — at full scale, unapologetic, sized for the cold half of a warm trip. Cut from fleece-lined knit, and finished so the print is still the loudest thing in the room a year from now.
Solar Flare is not a subtle piece and was never trying to be. It is the one thing in the drawer that decides the rest of the outfit.
Built to be worn hard. Colour holds through washing; the print is in the fabric, not sitting on top of it waiting to crack.
Solar Flare starts as artwork and stays artwork — drawn at scale, then fitted to the garment rather than shrunk onto a panel.
Solar Flare began as a single tile — one small unit of pattern that looked better the more it was repeated. The final artwork is that tile at scale, tuned until the eye stops finding the seam.
