Fleur d’Encre is a dress built around one idea, carried at full scale. The artwork is printed at the size it was composed, not shrunk to fit a panel.
The motif does the talking. You just show up. This one takes a single motif and lets it run: at full scale, unapologetic, sized for somewhere with better light. Cut from 100% polyester, and finished so the artwork reads at full volume.
Fleur d’Encre is not a subtle piece and was never trying to be. It is the one thing in the drawer that decides the rest of the outfit.
Saturated where it counts, calm where it needs to be. The palette is built to sit next to skin tones and denim without arguing with either.
Fleur d’Encre begins as a visual concept developed at scale, then fitted to the garment rather than reduced to a conventional front graphic.
The palette for Fleur d’Encre was pulled from things that hold colour badly in photographs and beautifully in person: pool tile, late light, painted shutters, cheap plastic sunglasses.
